The week-long residency has a very simple concept. Each artist arrives in Los Angeles without any collage materials. Your challenge is to spend a week creating new collage art only with materials found or sourced in the city and surrounding areas.
You’ll have your own workstation in an open space with fellow collage artists and each day there will be the opportunity to share your work and receive feedback from Les, Cecil, and the wider group.
The Venue
We’re delighted to say that we have now secured the venue for our week in LA. It’s a bright, open studio in the Arts District of the city. This fourth floor studio is served by a lift and has its own kitchen and toilet. If you join us for the week, you will be given a front door code to come in and out as you please. We have the studio from 8am each morning until 10pm each evening.
